The AGDL (Association pour la Garantie des Dépôts, Luxembourg) manages Luxembourg's mutual guarantee system covering deposits in cash (Deposit guarantee) as well as claims resulting from investment transactions (investor compensation). The AGDL was set up on the basis of two European directives that were transposed into Luxembourg law.
