NORD/LB Luxembourg steigert Ergebnis in 2011
Die NORD/LB Luxembourg erzielte im Geschäftsjahr 2011 ein Ergebnis vor Steuern von 71,7 Mio. Euro und konnte damit den Vorjahreswert beinahe verdoppeln. Das Nachsteuerergebnis beträgt 53,8 Mio. Euro. Vorstandsvorsitzender Harry Rosenbaum zeigte sich zufrieden: „In der Krise lernen die Kunden wieder das Bewährte schätzen: Verlässlichkeit, Vertrauenswürdigkeit und Stabilität. Die Bank hat ein zufriedenstellendes Ergebnis erzielt und gleichzeitig ihre Bilanzsumme planmässig reduziert, so dass sich die internen Kennzahlen in den einzelnen Geschäftsbereichen verbessert haben“.

Banque Raiffeisen: bons résultats 2011
Hausse importante des crédits accordés (+10,3%) et des dépôts de la clientèle privée (+8,5%). Le résultat net de l’exercice croît de 4,1%. Dans un environnement difficile, marqué par la crise de la dette souveraine, Raiffeisen a su renforcer sa position concurrentielle dans tous ses domaines d’activité. L’approche prudente de la Banque a été confirmée par l’augmentation des dépôts et la confiance des clients.

Clearstream’s April 2012 figures
In April 2012, the value of assets under custody held on behalf of customers registered a decrease of 2 percent to € 11.1 trillion (compared to € 11.3 trillion in April 2011). Securities held under custody in Clearstream’s international business increased by 2 percent from € 5.9 trillion in April 2011 to € 6.0 trillion in April 2012 – while domestic German securities held under custody decreased by 6 percent from € 5.4 trillion in April 2011 to € 5.1 trillion in April 2012.

Clearstream to join TARGET2-Securities
Clearstream announced today that the central securities depository (CSD) for Germany, Clearstream Banking AG, will join the European Central Bank’s TARGET2- Securities (T2S) initiative. T2S is a central pan-European settlement infrastructure platform for the cross-border and domestic settlement of securities against central bank money. The platform will go live in 2015 and aims at significantly reducing the fees for cross-border settlement. Clearstream Banking AG will be amongst the first CSDs to sign the T2S Framework Agreement on 30 April 2012.
