Roles and Responsabilities of the Directors and Managers of UCI and other investments vehicles

General Information

Event date :

15 November 2010

The role of boards of directors has become the subject of significant debate and numerous questions have been raised with regard to their legal, regulatory and financial responsibilities. The IFBL is therefore pleased to announce the workshop “Roles and Responsibilities of the Directors and Managers of UCI (undertakings for collective investments) and other investment vehicles”, which has as its aim to comment and help clarify these key issues. This interactive seminar, created in cooperation with ALFI (Luxembourg Investment Fund Association) and ILA (Luxembourg Institute of Directors) covers the theoretical basics, includes presentations by seasoned professionals, allows for exchanges between participants and devotes time to the practical application of knowledge learned, through the use of a case study.

This training course lasting 12 hours will be held in English and is split over one and a half days:

-  Monday, 15th November (from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.)

-  Tuesday, 16th November (from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.)

The program and practical information of this workshop are detailed in the flyer. Please do not hesitate to contact the Customer Service of IFBL (by mail: or by phone: +352 46 50 16 - 1) for any further information.
