Following the market implementation of the OTC Clearing requirements under EMIR earlier this year, buy side firms have begun to analyse the impact on their business. More specifically, many are looking into portfolio optimisation strategies in the face of increased capital costs, higher margin requirements and a greater need for collateral.

As regulatory changes continue to shape and challenge our industry, traditional (business) models need to evolve to meet the new risk an cost management requirements of both buy side and sell side firms. Deutsche Börse's Eurex Clearing has developed a direct CCP access model for the buy side - ISA Direct - which increases the capital efficiency of both derivatives and securities financing transactions, while at the same time improving portability in case of default.

Join us for an afternoon in Luxembourg to learn more about Deutsche Börse's EMIR solutions and to discuss the challenges and opportunities for the buy side in the new regulated market.
