Description:

The Transactions and Settlement Management Department is the first step of the chain of our custodian activity. It is responsible for processing security transactions on clients’ accounts. The department must ensure that all transactions are duly communicated to the concerned departments within the Bank and by given cut-off times (Fund Accounting, Treasury, etc.)

In the frame of a maternity leave/parental leave replacement, we are looking for a Transactions Officer for a temporary contract untli 31-Jan-18.

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Prepare, dispatch, input and validate the daily incoming trade instructions on Equities, Bonds and Alternative Investments Funds according to the bank procedures and processes
  • Perform daily client security reconciliations within cut-off times to ensure the accuracy of booking and resolution of position breaks
  • Handle queries from internal and external auditors
  • Perform control and adequate crosschecks when required
  • Complete and validate daily checklists

Job requirements:

  • University degree in Finance or Economics
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in securities trade processing
  • Deep knowledge of financial products, e.g. equities, bonds, etc.
  • Very good command of MS Office tools and Swift Alliance
  • Knowledge of Olympic banking system or E2GEN is considered as an asset
  • Very good level of English and French
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and to show flexibility when required
  • Team spirit and proactivity in daily task management
  • Ability to work on early and late shifts
