PwC Luxembourg and the American Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg have published a new edition of the presentation "Why Luxembourg?” to promote Luxembourg to foreign investors. With more than forty pages, "Why Luxembourg?" turns out to be a business card that presents the key advantages of Luxembourg, i.e. a gateway for the European market, a stable tax and political environment, a value proposition for many sectors with high added value and high standards of living.

Like the previous edition, “Why Luxembourg?” fosters the diversification of the economy and the attractiveness of the country. As a result, a large part of the presentation is dedicated to high-tech industry, biotechnology or environmental technology sectors. These leading sectors have high potential for development in Luxembourg and have been backed by the government to attract new players. Concrete examples of the development of these industries are illustrated in the publication with detailed case studies, e.g. logistics and ICT.

“There are many arguments for promoting Luxembourg abroad and foreign investors are becoming increasingly aware of them”, said Laurent Probst, Partner and Innovation Leader at PwC Luxembourg. “Among innovative initiatives, the establishment in Luxembourg of "PwC's Accelerator" represents a unique partnership in Europe with Plug and Play based in Silicon Valley, as it will promote the development of technology companies between Europe and the US. "

This publication is backed up with a podcast, which highlights the main topics of "Why Luxembourg?” and presents Jeannot Krecké, Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Saeed Amidi, CEO of Plug and Play Tech Center (Silicon Valley, USA) and Steven Kiefer, Vice President of Delphi, Delphi Powertrain Systems President.
