Christophe Plainchamp is a Partner and the Head of the Indirect Tax department. He has a strong knowledge in the field of financial services and real estate, where he offers VAT solutions to investment funds, asset managers, banks, insurance companies as well as holding entities, private equity structures and Pan-European real estate funds. Christophe is an active member of ABBL (the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association) and alfi (the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry). Christophe is a chartered accountant in Luxembourg and a graduate of University of Liège (Belgium).
Jamal Afakir is a Partner with the International Tax department of ATOZ. His practice supports multinational corporate, private equity and real estate clients on tax matters related to mergers and acquisitions, structured finance, debt restructuring and divestitures. He has a strong knowledge of the Islamic finance market. Jamal received a DESS/DJCE in business and tax law from the University of Nancy and a Master in Corporate Finance from EM Lyon Business School.
