EFG International today announces that Lena Lascari has been appointed Business Head of EFG Bank (Luxembourg) SA, effective 1 September 2017.
She will be based in Luxembourg and will report to Konstantinos Karoumpis, CEO of EFG Bank (Luxembourg) SA .Lena Lascari joined EFG in Luxembourg in 2014 in her current role as a member of the Executive Committee, in which she was responsible for the development of the UHNW clients Private Banking business, focusing primarily on the Greek market.
In her new role as Business Head of EFG Bank (Luxembourg) S.A., Lena Lascari will lead the Private Banking, the Asset Management, the International Client Services, as well as the Investment Solutions business areas. Lena Lascari has extensive experience in the banking sector and has held numerous senior management positions. Prior to joining EFG, she was at Eurobank Private Bank (Luxembourg) S.A., from 2004 to 2014, where from 2007 onwards she held the role of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, in which she, amongst other things, was responsible for the development and expansion of the bank’s private banking business.
Previously, she held the role of Head of Wealth Management at HSBC in the bank’s Athens branch. She started her career at Credit Commercial de France, where she worked from 1986 to 2001 in various roles. From 1997 onwards, she was the” “Country CEO of the bank’s Greek branches.
