ICMA Conference on Taxonomy Regulation

Designed as a classification system to identify sustainable economic activities, the EU Taxonomy Regulation also serves as a metric for sustainable reporting and a benchmark for sustainable financial products. It has set a precedent that many other jurisdictions have followed.

It is this topic that will be presented and discussed at the General Assembly of the ICMA Luxembourg Regional Committee, to which all market participants are invited. The debate will include a presentation by Eila Kreivi, EIB Chief Sustainable Finance Officer, on the EIB's work on the European taxonomy, followed by a discussion with market participants.

Speakers will also include:

  • Alexandra Merlino, EU Regulatory Affairs Lead, Pictet Group
  • Marilyn Rinck, Financial Markets Adviser, ABBL

The conference will be followed by a networking reception.

  • Date: 2 June
  • Time: 18:30 - 21:00
  • Place: Luxembourg
