The ABBL’s Financial Markets Committee, in association with Allen & Overy Luxembourg, invites you to save the date in your agenda to attend the event “EMIR 360 – everything you need to know”.

This conference will not only present and discuss the recent amendments made to the EMIR framework, but also deep-dive into the European Market Infrastructure Regulation to assess the opportunities and difficulties for market participants, thereby offering a full 360-overview of EMIR in the current market.

The conference will feature a key note speech by EMIR specialist Emma Dwyer (partner, Allen & Overy London) as well as discussion panels with relevant stakeholders hailing from the financial, insurance and fund sector as well as from the relevant public authorities.

    • Emma is a partner in Allen & Overy’s derivatives and structured finance team in London, a member of The Markets Innovation Group and advises on a broad range of issues relating to derivatives and structured finance transactions. Emma is an expert in the new regulatory environment for derivatives and is at the forefront of analysing the complexities and changes that these regulations require.

        • Paul specialises in securities law and capital markets regulation. He advises clients on the full spectrum of debt and equity transactions, including securitisation, structured products, covered bonds, IPOs, placements and buy backs of securities, exchange offers, listing applications and ongoing obligations deriving from such listings.

      • Ingrid Garin, Global head of collateral sales – Bank of New York Mellon
        • Ingrid Garin is responsible for business development in EMEA centred around delivering collateral management and segregation solutions. In her over 20 years professional career she held previous managerial positions in collateral management operational groups both at BNY Mellon and JP Morgan Chase.
      • Haroun Boucheta, Head of Public Affairs – BNP Paribas Securities Services
        • Haroun is Head of Public Affairs for BNP Paribas Securities Services since September 2018 defining and implementing the influence strategy to anticipate impacts of regulatory developments for BNP Paribas Securities Services and its clients. Before joining BNP Paribas Securities Services, Haroun was, from 2010 to 2018, Director within the Regulatory Strategy Team of Société Générale Global Banking & Investor Solutions with responsibility for coordinating the business response to the evolving regulatory environment across the investment bank in particular.
      • Vincent Derbali, Policy Officer at the DG FISMA, European Commission
        • Vincent is a Policy officer in the Financial markets infrastructure Unit at DG FISMA where he is involved in various regulatory initiatives, including EMIR. Vincent has previously worked for the French Financial Market Authority in the International Affaires Directorate, successively in charge of commodity markets and post-trading policies.
      • Michaela Seifert , Banking Supervision – Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier
        • Michaela holds a Master of Business Administration and has studied “Business and Law” at a German University of Applied Science.Working in the banking supervision department since 2015, Michaela is the dedicated expert for ensuring compliance of Luxembourgish banks with the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR). Prior to joining the CSSF, Michaela acquired 8 years of experience in the legal department of a major bank in Luxembourg.
