Trend forecaster and TEDx Talks speaker James Wallman will reveal the future trends of the banking industry
Digital transformation and changing customer needs are shaping the banks of the future. Banks must look forward into the next generation of consumers to remain competitive and to provide a high quality customer experience. Improving digital capabilities and containing costs are the two key points for banking institutions.
In order to have a clearer vision on people’s new needs, we have decided to hear it directly from the public. Over the past months, together with our KPMG robot Rob Otman, we have collected people’s visions for the bank of the future. Both retail and institutional customers have expressed their ideas.
The results will be presented during our “The bank of my dreams” event on 30 November 2017 at KPMG Luxembourg’s headquarters in Kirchberg.
A special highlight of this event will be the author and trends forecaster James Wallman’s speech on how the banking industry will evolve in a fast-changing world. As a true futurist, James has traveled from Amsterdam to Beijing and California to give renowned companies advice on the future of a variety of topics. James runs a global strategy and forecasting firm called The Future Is Here. His writing and views on the future have appeared on TV, radio and press, from the BBC to MSNBC, The Financial Times, The New York Times, The Economist, and The Guardian.
