Our Tax team is an essential component of the Linklaters international tax network, with over 150 tax experts worldwide advising on all aspects of cross-border advisory and transactional tax matters. Particular fields of expertise include M&A and joint ventures, capital raising, structured finance, as well as real estate, private equity and investment funds. Our highly-experienced tax specialists have built up a wealth of expertise in all aspects of international tax planning using Luxembourg holding and financing vehicles.
To support our Tax team, we are currently looking for a :

Corporate and Tax Officer

* Key Responsibilities and Challenges
* Drafting of deal-related cash flows
* Drafting of deal-related legal documentation
* Computation of waterfalls upon deal exits
* Reconciliation of cash transfers with legal documentation
* Financial and legal implementation of management investment programs
* Answering of occasional accounting queries
* Ensuring the accuracy and exhaustiveness of client files in close cooperation with our lawyers

Qualifications and Skills required

* Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or management
* A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a Big 4, in trust and corporate administration services or in a Private Equity funds administration, including but not limited to Luxembourg SPV accounting and general administration, cash management, and carried interest vehicle administration
* Advanced understanding of financial statements and notes, ability to read and understand general ledgers and trial balance sheets
* Exposure to legal documentation
* Fluent in written and spoken English and French, German would be an asset
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Attention to detail
* Resilient with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise
* Good interpersonal skills with confidence to deal with all levels of staff
* Team player but capable to work independently
