Job Description

ABOUT THE JOB

The collection team is part of the Risk & Compliance department and responsible for all debt recovery activities, including the management and sale of
non-performing loans. The Credit & Collection Officer plays a key role in the team, working on the operational tasks and ensuring timely collection payments. He/she will be responsible for the following activities:

* Manage the accounts that are in arrears and the requests from customers in default
* Work closely with collection agencies for the preparation and follow-up of transferred cases
* Settlement of bad accounts
* Produce internal and external reporting
* Handle and follow-up on insolvency,
pre-insolvency, care and deceased cases
* Follow up on internal projects under supervision

* Precise and accurate working style
* You are stress resilient, proactive and reliable
* Very good command of English and German;
French would be an advantage

Required Experience

ABOUT YOU

* Banking or office-related education (e.g. vocational training) or a university degree in Economics, Finance, Law or similar
* Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Knowledge of debt collections management
* Ideally, first professional experience in the credit and collections business or a related function
* Knowledge of financial products – especially credit cards – is an advantage
