Job Description

The POSITION | About YOU: We are looking for a Head of Product Management for our business-to-business software-as-a-service products. You will be leading the product management team, coordinate the analysis, the ideation and specification processes, the product, features and priorities management and the partner/supplier relations handling, for our bank compliance, KYC, payments, telecom and other digitisation/API products. We expect you to understand and to be truly proficient at finding the right match between Luxembourg’s financial industry players’ needs and pain points and Finologee’s product strategy and value proposition. You will be heading the team in charge of strategy, priorities, features, scope and roadmap definitions, business analysis, UI/UX, as well as component sourcing/partnerships management. You will also be in charge of liaising with business development, tech and ops teams. You will be reporting directly to the CEO (who is the sponsor of the product team).
A solid experience of digital B2B/SaaS product (with both web and API interfaces) definition, staging, building and deployment processes and best practices would be helpful. A genuine interest and relevant experience with digital KYC, bank payment processes and/or API/FinTech features would also be considered an asset for the position.

With us you will…

Define and be accountable for the company’s product strategy definition and deployment, with the help of the company’s CEO whom you will also be reporting to directly.
Lead the company’s digital product department (KYC, payments, bank compliance and others): organise analyses, definitions and deployments of suitable features and strategies starting with the product architecture, market analyses and benchmarks, deep-dive into existing processes and practices and propose suitable digital implementations meeting both users’/clients’ needs with the help of your team, coordinate the ideation and implementation stages supervision with your team of business analysts and UI/UX designers, with product sponsors and other departments (dev, ops and business development), be accountable for business cases and strategies for all the company’s products and platforms, contribute to the company’s general strategy and priorities definitions and their roll-out as a member of the management team, and finally help with the definition and deployment of marketing and sales efforts.
Coordinate the company’s partner network and product/features sourcing operations, identify and assess suppliers and partners at business, technical and compliance levels (with the help of other departments), lead negotiations, monitor and cultivate relations over time, contribute to audit processes and organize documentation.

What we expect from you…

At least 5 years of relevant experience in B2B software product design and business modelling, preferably in digital finance, or alternatively in other digital B2B product/SaaS contexts
Proven leadership and team management skills as a team/department lead or co-lead/deputy
A good understanding of modern business applications/interface design and architecture as well as of the benefits and challenges of a SaaS infrastructure and FinTech/RegTech platform value proposition
A solid knowledge in at least one of the core areas we address with our platforms (KYC/AML processes, professional/bank payment connectivity, mobile payments, telecom messaging, FinTech/RegTech APIs …)
Languages: good command of English – solid writing skills (French would be an advantage but is not mandatory)
Education: a university degree in business, engineering/IT or other
Desire to work in a fast-paced innovation-driven company, working with the company’s founders, with a genuine accountability for tasks and projects
Being a European Union citizen or having a valid work permit for Luxembourg
