Inspiring the next generation: ABBL represented at TEDxLuxembourgCitySalon – TechTalks4Girls
Published on 26 February 2026
The ABBL was represented at TEDxLuxembourgCitySalon – TechTalks4Girls, hosted at Kinepolis Kirchberg. The event brought together students aged 14 to 19 and their teachers with a clear objective: making careers in technology tangible, accessible and inspiring for young women across Luxembourg. Organised in cooperation with the Service des médias, de la connectivité et de la politique numérique and the Ministère de l’Égalité des genres et de la Diversité, the format followed the spirit of TED with concise, idea-driven talks focused on impact.
Summary
Technology reflects those who build it
A central message emerged throughout the afternoon: technology reflects those who design and develop it.
As digital finance increasingly shapes how citizens authenticate, transact and protect their data, diversity of talent is not symbolic. It is strategically essential. Strengthening the presence of women in ICT, AI, cybersecurity and data contributes directly to Luxembourg’s competitiveness and to Europe’s digital resilience.
In a sector where female role models remain underrepresented, initiatives such as TechTalks4Girls play a meaningful role in widening the talent pipeline and reinforcing confidence among the next generation.
Representing the ABBL, Arnaud Clément, Head of Payments and Innovation, shared reflections on mentorship and visibility.
