ABBL Masterclass 2026: registrations open for wealth management students

Step inside Luxembourg’s wealth management industry

For students considering a career in private banking or wealth management, understanding the industry goes far beyond academic theory.

Starting on 14 September 2026, the second edition of the ABBL Masterclass in Wealth Management will offer students enrolled in the University of Luxembourg’s Master in Wealth Management an opportunity to discover the profession from the inside.

Across eight interactive modules, participants will meet experienced bankers, senior executives and industry specialists, explore real-life business challenges and gain first-hand insight into the skills and expertise required to build a career in wealth management.

From academic knowledge to practical experience

Designed by the ABBL with the support of Luxembourg’s private banking community, the programme complements students’ academic studies with direct exposure to the realities of the sector.

Participants will explore key areas including:

• Luxembourg’s international financial centre;
• client acquisition and relationship management;
• asset structuring and portfolio management;
• digital transformation and WealthTech;
• sustainability and ESG investing;
• career development;
• soft skills and professional ethics.

The sessions will combine expert presentations, practical discussions and opportunities to engage directly with professionals working across the sector.
