Anda Asaftei has joined the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL) in January 2025 as Adviser – Banking and Business Intelligence. She will focus on industry research, strategic analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Mission
As an Adviser, Anda will act as a trusted partner to ABBL members and stakeholders. Her role includes leading the development of industry research and analysis to provide actionable insights, enabling members to make informed strategic decisions. Additionally, she will contribute to the implementation of ABBL’s cluster strategies by coordinating working groups and ensuring their objectives align with the organisation’s broader mission.
Biography
Anda has built a distinguished 17-year career in the banking and financial sector in Romania, followed by two years of experience in Luxembourg. Her professional journey includes leadership roles such as Business Banking Coordinator, Customer Journey Expert, and CDD Segment Coordinator. She brings extensive expertise in corporate and retail banking, stakeholder management, regulatory compliance, and business transformation.
Anda holds a degree in Accounting and Informatics as well as a post-graduate qualification in Banks and Insurance from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in Iași, Romania.
