Published on 27 January 2026
Human resources leadership is increasingly recognised as a strategic driver for organisational resilience, skills development and long-term competitiveness in Luxembourg. This was strongly reflected at the Paperjam HR Leaders 2026 gala evening, held on 27 January at the Tramsschapp, gathering around 300 HR decision-makers and executives from across the country. During the ceremony, Caroline Lamy, HR Director of the House of Training, was named HR Leader of the Year 2026 by her peers, highlighting her contribution to the evolution of people management and professional development in Luxembourg.
Summary
A recognition for Luxembourg’s training ecosystem
The award shines a light not only on individual excellence, but also on the essential role played by institutions that strengthen talent and skills across the economy.
As Luxembourg’s leading vocational training organisation, the House of Training supports thousands of professionals every year through a forward-looking approach to learning, combining practical expertise, sector relevance and continuous adaptation to emerging challenges.
A partnership rooted in the financial sector
The ABBL is proud of this recognition, as the House of Training was co-founded in 2015 by the ABBL and the Chamber of Commerce with a shared ambition: to enhance Luxembourg’s attractiveness and competitiveness through high-quality lifelong learning.
Over the past ten years, this founding partnership has enabled the development of training programmes that respond directly to the evolving needs of Luxembourg’s financial sector, including:
- regulatory transformation,
- digitalisation and artificial intelligence,
- cybersecurity and operational resilience,
- sustainable finance and ESG skills,
- governance and leadership development.
Celebrating a shared commitment to learning
Caroline Lamy’s distinction is also a reminder that HR functions are increasingly becoming key partners in shaping the future of work, supporting transformation and ensuring that organisations can attract, retain and develop talent in a highly competitive environment.
The ABBL warmly congratulates Caroline Lamy and the entire House of Training team for this achievement, which reflects the strength of Luxembourg’s collaborative training ecosystem and the growing importance of strategic HR leadership.
ABBL engagement
As one of the founding institutions of the House of Training, the ABBL remains fully committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen skills, promote professional excellence and contribute to the long-term development of Luxembourg’s financial centre.
