AI in Luxembourg’s financial sector: insights from the ABBL & LuxProvide roundtable

On 14 October 2025, the ABBL, in collaboration with LuxProvide, held an exclusive roundtable on AI adoption in Luxembourg’s financial sector at the House of Finance in Kirchberg.

    The session gathered CIOs, Heads of AI Strategy, Chief Innovation and Transformation Officers, and members of the ABBL “AI” Task Force for a focused exchange on how the sector can move from experimentation to secure and scalable AI deployment.

    Discussions explored the role of sovereign infrastructure such as MeluXina in enabling compliant and resilient AI capabilities, as well as practical use cases from financial institutions already engaged in AI transformation. Other key topics included data governance, readiness, interoperability, and the balance between corporate sovereignty and collaboration.

    LuxProvide shared valuable insights on federated learning, data sovereignty, and how national infrastructure supports innovation across the financial ecosystem.

    This roundtable reinforced Luxembourg’s position as a trusted hub for responsible and sovereign AI in finance, underlining the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors.
