Summary

As Luxembourg marks Cybersecurity Week 2025 and launches the second wave of its national campaign against online fraud, the ABBL Foundation for Financial Education highlights two innovative tools designed to help citizens and professionals strengthen both their financial and digital literacy.

Because cybersecurity starts with awareness, and awareness begins with education.

Test your financial reflexes with Money Odyssey

Developed by the ABBL Foundation with the support of the Chamber of Commerce, Money Odyssey turns financial learning into a fun and engaging experience for both youth (10+) and adults.

Through interactive challenges, players explore key topics such as saving, investing, sustainable finance, budgeting, loans and digital payments — while improving their understanding of everyday money decisions.

The app offers two game modes:

    • Classic mode, to complete missions and unlock achievements;
    • Finance Challenge, a competitive mode to test your knowledge with friends, colleagues or students.

Available in English, French, German and Portuguese, Money Odyssey makes financial education accessible anytime and anywhere — at home, on the move, or in the classroom.

Download and play: Money Odyssey is available on the App Store and Google Play.

Stay safe online with Sécher am Internet

Created by the ABBL Foundation in collaboration with the Luxembourg Tech School (LTS), Sécher am Internet helps users of all ages navigate the digital banking environment securely and confidently.

The platform provides clear guidance and interactive exercises on key topics such as:

    • recognising phishing attempts,
    • protecting passwords and digital identities,
    • using two-factor authentication,
    • performing online and mobile transactions safely.

Learners can also access an e-banking simulation tool, offering a safe environment to explore online banking functionalities and adopt the right digital reflexes — from checking balances to transferring funds.

Originally conceived during the LTS FinTech Hackathon and developed under the Ech kann dat och national training programme, this initiative empowers individuals to manage their finances securely in an increasingly digital world.

A shared commitment during Cybersecurity Week

With Money Odyssey and Sécher am Internet, the ABBL Foundation for Financial Education actively contributes to Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg and to the national campaign “Don’t click. Check it. Report it.”, led by the ABBL, the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity and multiple partners under the patronage of the Ministry of the Economy.

Together, these initiatives reinforce one message:

Cybersecurity is everyone’s responsibility — at work, at home and online.
