Executive summary

The “Standard Single Credit Transfer Form – Technical Specifications (Version 2)” (ABBL, September 2011) defines a harmonised layout for paper-based credit transfer orders. It standardises formats, data fields, colours, and OCR requirements to ensure efficient, automated processing of domestic, European, and international transfers, replacing legacy TUP forms and supporting straight-through processing in payment systems.
