The Defence Investment Forum – From angels to institutions: a cross-capital investment opportunity for defence will take place on 14 October 2026 at Luxexpo The Box, as part of Luxembourg Venture Days 2026.
This first dedicated forum focused exclusively on dual-use and defence technology financing will bring together private and public investors to explore how capital can support the development of Europe’s next generation of defence capabilities.
Against a backdrop of rapidly evolving defence needs, shifting regulatory frameworks and growing investment activity, the event is designed as a focused meeting point for investors, policymakers and innovation leaders.
More than 300 participants are expected to attend the one-day programme.
Programme
The forum will combine two main components:
Morning – High-level conferences
Keynote sessions and expert panels will address the challenges and opportunities surrounding the financing of dual-use and defence technologies in Europe.
Afternoon – Strategic networking and matchmaking
Dedicated exchanges and matchmaking sessions will take place across four exhibition zones, bringing together representatives from Luxembourg and European technology ecosystems, including public and institutional stakeholders.

Registrations are subject to eligibility checks and validation by the organisers.

Participation is free of charge, but registration is mandatory and places are subject to availability and selection criteria.
Registration for the Defence Investment Forum also provides access to Luxembourg Venture Days 2026. No separate registration is required.
An identity check will be carried out at the welcome desk. Participants should bring a valid identity card or passport.
