In response to increasing and more sophisticated financial fraud attempts, several Luxembourg financial institutions have partnered with Worldline and LuxTrust to extend the services of the 49 10 10 hotline, now available 24/7. This initiative, led by the ABBL’s Phishing Prevention Task Force, enables customers to report fraud or suspicious transactions outside normal banking hours. The hotline can block bank cards, suspend LuxTrust certificates, and alert banks. Participating institutions include Banque de Luxembourg, BIL, Banque Raiffeisen, BGL BNP Paribas, POST Luxembourg, and Spuerkeess. The project aims to strengthen customer protection and fraud prevention nationwide.
