The ABBL CIB Cluster Annual Meeting 2026 brought together members of Luxembourg’s corporate and institutional banking community to exchange on shared priorities and current developments shaping the sector.

Two joint ABBL–PwC initiatives in focus
This year’s edition highlighted two publications developed jointly by the ABBL CIB Cluster and PwC Luxembourg:
- the CIB Pitch Book, showcasing Luxembourg’s value proposition as a European hub for corporate banking, with a focus on innovation, trust and sustainability
- the ABBL–PwC CIB Survey 2025, offering a data-driven perspective on revenue and profitability dynamics, changes in the product mix and emerging capabilities across the industry

Data-driven insights from the survey
The survey looks at revenue and profitability dynamics, changes in the product mix and the capabilities banks are strengthening in response to evolving client expectations. Key figures include an 8.6% increase in revenues compared to 2023, 37% of net profits coming from syndicated loans, and treasury services leading in revenue generation, followed by syndicated and bilateral loans.
Discussion led by ABBL and PwC Luxembourg
The meeting opened with an overview of the CIB Cluster’s priorities and key projects, presented by Dr Daniel Zapf, Chair of the ABBL CIB Cluster, and Hélène Lange, Head of Business Coordination at ABBL. They were joined by Ryan Davis, Partner, and Elena Kazmina, Director at PwC Luxembourg, who presented key takeaways from the CIB Pitch Book and shared insights from the survey.
