They don’t all have the same level of information and I think that financial education should be an integral part of the school curriculum, just like the ‘life and society’ course. That’s why, for the past five years, I’ve been committed to going into classrooms and raising awareness among pupils.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the teachers and volunteers who participated in this Money Week in Luxembourg, in alignment with the European Money Week and the Global Money Week.
A special thank you to the coordinators of each participating entity for their dedication and support.
We would also like to warmly thank all those who contributed to the success of this event, and in particular Jessica Thyrion, Financial Education Adviser at the ABBL, for coordinating the project. And of course the 78 volunteers without whom none of this would have been possible, including Marilyn Rinck and Simone Kayser from the ABBL, as well as the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth for its support.
Through this kind of financial education initiatives, we firmly believe in the importance of preparing the younger generations to manage their finances responsibly, thus providing them with the necessary tools for a prosperous financial future.
Stay tuned for more exciting initiatives from the ABBL Foundation to promote financial education in Luxembourg and beyond.
