ABBL scholarship for leadership excellence in Luxembourg

Presenting the ABBL Scholarship for Leadership Excellence, a joint initiative between the ABBL and HEC Liège Luxembourg. This is a shared commitment made with the ABBL and its members in mind and is motivated by our shared strong commitment to Luxembourg’s future, and a strong belief that facilitating access to leadership excellence is a right way to have a lasting positive impact.

This scholarship has been developed exclusively for ABBL members’ employees and will be awarded to only ten candidates. The scholarship covers €10.000 towards the tuition of the HEC MBA International MBA Certificate programme, leaving €19.000 to be funded from other sources. ABBL member companies may choose to participate in the financing of the remaining tuition following their own policies.

The Scholarship provides winners with access to a fully flexible International MBA programme completely outside work hours, gaining the skills required to become a well-rounded, versatile leader, who is actively engaged and engage others around them in the organisation. In this sense the MBA is a gift that keeps giving, benefiting not only the participant but also the whole organisation and starts giving fast.

After having been submitted, the selection committee will review the applications, and the 10 scholarships will be awarded on July 1, July. Scholarship winners can start their studies any time from July to the end of the year.

A mix of core- and a choice among 20+ elective courses, the programme is carefully designed to provide participants an understanding of the organisation as a whole, while allowing them to explore their own specialised personal interests. All courses delivered outside work hours at the Chamber of Commerce by experienced industrial experts & international faculty.

ABBL members may nominate candidates for the Scholarship until the application deadline on June 1, 2024. To apply, candidates need to send their CV, and a motivation letter explaining how pursuing an HEC Liège Luxembourg MBA will support their goals and their organisation.
