The Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL) and Deloitte Luxembourg invite financial-sector professionals to an evening discussion in Singapore exploring the evolution of digital assets and capital markets from a Luxembourg and international perspective.
Digital assets and new forms of financial-market infrastructure are rapidly moving from experimentation towards real-world deployment. Tokenised financial instruments, tokenised deposits, stablecoins and central bank money are increasingly becoming part of the broader discussion on how financial markets, payments and settlement may evolve.
At the same time, Europe and Asia are developing their respective regulatory frameworks, market infrastructures and industry initiatives, creating a timely opportunity to compare approaches and identify how international experience can help accelerate adoption.
Against this backdrop, the event will bring together perspectives from Luxembourg and Singapore, two internationally connected financial centres actively contributing to the development of digital finance.
Key topics
The discussion will address:
- The latest developments in digital assets, tokenisation and financial-market infrastructure
- The evolution of tokenised securities, tokenised deposits, stablecoins and CBDCs
- Lessons learned from the development and implementation of digital-finance initiatives
- Luxembourg’s experience with tokenised funds, public-sector initiatives and financial-market infrastructure
- The challenges of moving from pilots and experimentation towards scalable market adoption
- How digital assets and capital markets could evolve towards 2030
The formal programme will be followed by a networking reception, offering participants the opportunity to continue the exchange in an informal setting.
