European Money Quiz 2026 — European Finals
The European Money Quiz is the largest financial literacy competition in Europe, bringing together students aged 13 to 15 from more than 30 countries.
Launched in 2017, this initiative aims to strengthen financial education among young people, helping them develop essential skills to manage money, understand economic concepts and make informed financial decisions.
How it works
The competition takes place in two stages:
- National selections (March 2026)
Students compete at national level within their country - European Finals (19 May 2026)
National winners meet in Brussels to compete at European level
Why it matters
Financial literacy is a key life skill. Through initiatives like the European Money Quiz, young people learn how to:
- manage their daily finances
- understand risks and opportunities
- avoid scams and fraud
- make informed decisions about their future
Who can participate
The competition is open to students aged 13–15, typically participating through their schools and coordinated by national banking associations.

Participation is organised at national level.

Practice and prepare
Students can test their knowledge and prepare for the quiz through a wide range of online practice quizzes available in multiple languages.
