About the event
From 11 to 13 November 2026, Luxembourg will host Inclusive Finance 2026 (IF26), an international conference organised by the European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP), bringing together professionals from across the microfinance and financial inclusion sectors.
Formerly known as European Microfinance Week, IF26 provides a meeting point for investors, financial institutions, development agencies, NGOs, researchers, consultants and other stakeholders working to expand access to financial services worldwide.
This year’s edition broadens its scope to welcome members of Luxembourg’s banking and fintech ecosystem, creating opportunities to explore how inclusive finance connects with sustainable investment, innovation and the wider financial sector.
Through expert discussions, workshops and networking opportunities, the conference will address emerging trends, challenges and opportunities across the inclusive finance landscape.

As part of IF26, a dedicated introductory session will provide financial sector professionals with an opportunity to discover the fundamentals of inclusive finance and explore potential areas for engagement.
Designed particularly for participants who are new to the field or interested in exploring opportunities to invest, collaborate or develop new initiatives, the session will address:

- The main stakeholders, including clients, investors and financial service providers
- Luxembourg’s role in the international inclusive finance ecosystem
- The challenges and opportunities facing the sector

Experts from different areas of inclusive finance will share their perspectives through short presentations, followed by opportunities for questions and discussion.
The session is organised in partnership with e-MFP, InFiNe and Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative (LSFI), and welcomes both established inclusive finance professionals and members of Luxembourg’s broader financial and fintech ecosystem.
