Retail Investment Strategy & SFDR 2.0 — Navigating the next regulatory wave
About the event
Two major regulatory developments are set to reshape the European investment landscape: the Retail Investment Strategy (RIS), recently finalised and moving towards publication, and the ongoing review of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).
This joint event organised by the ABBL in cooperation with Palana offers an opportunity to explore the implications of these developments for the financial sector.
What changes are introduced by the RIS, and how will they impact investment services? Where do the negotiations on SFDR 2.0 currently stand, and what trajectory is emerging for the financial sector?
Through keynote interventions, panel discussions and interactive exchanges, participants will gain practical insights into how these regulatory developments are expected to affect both product manufacturing and distribution models.
Bringing together perspectives from across the financial ecosystem, the session will highlight the dual role of banks as both manufacturers and distributors, while addressing key issues such as transparency, investor protection and the future direction of the market.
