Asia Finance Forum 2026
The ABBL will be represented at the event by Sandrine Roux. The event is organised by Luxembourg for Finance.
ABBL Secretary General Sandrine Roux will interview global economist Keyu Jin during Luxembourg for Finance’s Asia Finance Forum 2026.
On 14 October 2026, Luxembourg for Finance will host its Asia Finance Forum, a digital event bringing together experts from Asian and European markets to examine the economic and geopolitical forces reshaping global capital flows and investment strategies.
For Luxembourg’s internationally connected banking sector, these developments have direct relevance. Changes in Asia’s economic outlook, investment patterns and geopolitical relationships can influence capital flows, client strategies, investment decisions and cross-border financial activity.
The forum will explore Asia’s macroeconomic outlook, global asset reallocation, Asian investment in Europe and the evolving relationship between China, the United States and Europe.
ABBL at the Asia Finance Forum
Sandrine Roux, Secretary General and Member of the Management Board of the ABBL, will interview global economist Keyu Jin in a dedicated conversation entitled:
Navigating China in the Trump Era
Their discussion will focus on China’s evolving economic and business environment against the backdrop of renewed US-China tensions and broader changes in the global economy. The interview will form part of the Asia Finance Forum broadcast on 14 October.
Keyu Jin is a global economist and Professor of Finance at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where she chairs the Institute for Geoeconomics. Her research focuses on China and the global economy, US-China technology competition and global macroeconomics. She is also the author of The New China Playbook: Beyond Capitalism and Socialism.
For ABBL members, the discussion offers an opportunity to better understand how geopolitical and macroeconomic developments may translate into changing investment patterns, client needs and opportunities for cross-border financial activity.
