This position paper, published by the ABBL, on 30 July 2024, responds to the European Commission’s public consultation on the Directive on Administrative Cooperation (DAC). It calls for proportional, harmonised reporting obligations, reassessment of DAC6, stronger alignment with AML and GDPR rules, and better use of exchanged tax data.
