Schoulfoire 2026 — Discover financial education with Fondation ABBL
The Schoulfoire 2026 is a key national event dedicated to education, orientation and career pathways, bringing together students, parents and education professionals.
As part of this initiative, the Fondation ABBL pour l’éducation financière will be present with an interactive and educational experience designed for young audiences.
Mission Moneylock — a financial escape room
At the Fondation ABBL stand, visitors aged 8 to 12 years (cycles 3.2 to 4.2) will be invited to take part in “Mission Moneylock”, a fun and immersive escape room.
In this adventure, participants become money detectives tasked with solving puzzles and unlocking a treasure chest by cracking a three-digit code before time runs out.
Through teamwork and problem-solving, children will:
- navigate the “Euro jungle”
- manage a pocket money budget
- identify true and false statements about money
- understand saving and financial planning
This hands-on experience makes financial education engaging, interactive and memorable.
Three complementary stands
The activity is structured around three interconnected themes:
Understanding money
History of money, interactive challenges and quiz (SCRIPT)
Managing money wisely
Basic budgeting and financial habits for young audiences (Fondation ABBL)
Protecting money online
Awareness of fraud, fake accounts and safe online practices (Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity – LHC)

Sessions start every hour:

Children aged 8–12, school groups, families
Access
The Schoulfoire is open to:
- school classes (registration required on selected days)
- the general public (Sunday and part of Tuesday)
Why it matters
Through initiatives like this, the Fondation ABBL contributes to raising awareness of financial literacy from an early age, helping young people build essential skills for everyday life.
