ABBL Conference — EU Digital Identity Wallet

Registration required

Participation is reserved for ABBL members.
Registration is mandatory.

About the event

The EU Digital Identity Wallet is set to become a cornerstone of Europe’s digital ecosystem, with significant implications for financial services.

As the implementation of the revised EU Digital Identity Framework progresses, Member States are required to offer at least one Digital Identity Wallet to all citizens and residents by December 2026.

This conference will provide a practical and forward-looking perspective on the latest developments at both European and national levels, as well as their impact on the banking sector.

We are honoured to welcome Norbert Sagstetter, Head of Unit for Digital Identity and Trust at the European Commission, as keynote speaker.

Key topics

Participants will gain insights into:

  • Developments related to Luxembourg’s Digital Identity Wallet, with contributions from the Ministry for Digitalisation and CTIE
  • Key banking use cases and perspectives
  • Authentication methods and associated challenges
  • European consortium initiatives, including payments and additional use cases
  • Industry perspectives and practical implications
