The 12th International Conference on Sovereign Bond Markets will bring together leading academics, practitioners and policymakers from around the world to discuss the evolving dynamics of sovereign debt markets in a context of heightened geopolitical uncertainty.

Hosted by the Banque Centrale du Luxembourg at the European Stability Mechanism, this high-level conference will focus on the theme:

Sovereign Bond Markets in Geopolitical Storms

As global uncertainty, inflationary pressures, trade tensions and political fragmentation continue to reshape financial markets, sovereign bond markets are once again at the centre of economic and monetary discussions. The conference will explore how these developments are impacting sovereign debt issuance, market liquidity, financial stability and monetary policy transmission across jurisdictions.

The programme will feature keynote speeches, academic presentations and panel discussions addressing the major challenges currently facing sovereign bond markets and global capital markets more broadly.
