About the job | Your responsibilities
- Drive implementation of new financial products
- Manage and oversee the configuration and optimisation of core banking system parameters
- Maintain and update the chart of accounts across all relevant systems
- Oversee the account opening and closure processes within the core banking system
- Manage month-end accounting tasks, including the preparation of month-end reports
- Participate in the development and standardisation of new operational processes
- Establish robust accounting procedures and operational routines
- Performdaily, weekly and monthly reconciliations to verify the accuracy of GL account balances
- Provide support for both internal and external audits
- Coach and guide junior team members
- Address other ad-hoc requests and tasks as required
About you | Your background, skills and personality

Academic background in accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering/IT

At least 7 years of professional experience in accounting or back-office operations

Relevant professional experience in a financial or banking environment or in IT

Knowledge of financial product implementation

ACCA/CPA/CFA/FCMA certification is an asset
-
Knowledge of banking platforms and reporting tools (such as T24, Navision, OneSumX, etc.) would be beneficial
-
Understanding of SWIFT/Target/SEPA would be a plus

Familiarity with data analysis and visualisation tools(e.g. MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Expertise in software programming and process automation (e.g. Visual Basic, Python, etc.)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French, German or other languages is a plus
